West End is found on the edge of downtown Nashville, where residential life begins to sprinkle itself in amidst commercial high-rises. Home to the city’s most popular park, Centennial Park, and Vanderbilt University, West End offers its residents a taste of everything. West End Ave is lined with both restaurants and retail, making it walkable for lunch breaks and dinners out. Smaller music venues and festivals in the park offer weekend activities year-round.
West End has an energetic environment that is still livable for its residents. Evenings are often spent getting cocktails with coworkers or on runs through Centennial Park. With predominately young professionals calling West End home, weekends are filled with festivals, brunches, and nights out on the town.
A majority of the neighborhood is comprised of corporate high-rises, dictating traffic patterns and the retail spaces found. However, because of Centennial Park and Vanderbilt, the neighborhood still draws in festivals and trendy retail spaces, giving balance to the neighborhood. Weekends you can expect to hear live music coming from the people-filled park.
West End has affluent roots that is seen through the multitude of luxury condos available. The streets are lined with a variety of apartment complexes that cater to young professionals and college students alike. There are limited single family homes found in the neighborhood that come with a higher price tag.
